Automation Image, Inc. is looking for a Software Engineer with a Bachelor's degree, or equiv., in Computer Science, Engineering (any branch), or any related discipline, +5 years of progressive experience in Java/J2EE Web Development. Candidate must also have at least five years of Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience in development of Internet/intranet Java applications in Struts framework using IBM Rational Tools (Eclipse, WSAD, Rational Application Developer) and WebSphere (V5 &V6) environment.

Job Duties: Performing sophisticated analysis, designing, coding, testing and implementing changes to systems based on business needs and using SQL, Oracle/JDBC, various XML technologies (XML, XSD, XSLT, SOAP etc.) HTML, CSS, Javascript, and AJAX; Preparing detailed and complex software specifications and test plans; Writing UNIX shell scripts for Sun/Solaris OS; Determining the scope of the assigned project(s) by assessing requirements from business and technical personnel; Developing and maintaining systems/technical documentation; Conducting Code Reviews and suggesting modifications; Designing Object Oriented Patterns and producing complicated technical design artifacts (Class diagrams, Sequence diagrams, etc); Analyzing business requirements, and creating high quality solutions that meet acceptance criteria; Supports production applications by analyzing issues and providing solutions; Guiding project team to ensure they understand their deliverables and know the best practices for delivering them; Advising team members on technical issues as they arise; Ensuring that the solution is developed with high quality leveraging the QA process.
