I-TEL

I-TEL is an intelligent, integrated solution, which validates both the accuracy and completeness of network provisioning changes before they are entered into the switch. It is designed to perform automated switch provisioning based on business rules defined and administered by the user. I-TEL is a proven solution that can identify unbilled revenue, increase operating productivity, improve customer satisfaction and optimizes network utilization




I-TEL can be accessed through an easy to use Web Browser based interface. It permits order management and monitoring, generates reports and archives data. It scales to handle the required number of switches in any given network. It operates within an open environment and provides full data recovery capabilities. It can operate on a stand-alone platform or co-exist with your current translations platforms. Alternatively, I-TEL can be administered through a cost-effective service bureau or ASP (Application Service Provider) model. This permits maximum flexibility in resources required to effectively run the application.

Intelligent Route Determination
I-TEL provides the ability to apply individual routing and rating rules rather than Route Like/Rate Like rules. I-TEL does not just copy what is in the switch; it also determines rating and routing based on the company's business rules. Embedded errors are not perpetuated.

Improved Accuracy for Routing and Translation
I-TEL's automated approach provides a consistent, standardized process to implement your routing and translation business rules into each switch. The reduction of manual processes greatly reduces the risk of error at every level.

Centralized Database
I-TEL is housed in a relational database that can be maintained efficiently for the entire company and provides a ready reference for all network hierarchies. The data is consistent and provides consistent results. For example, when multiple switches serve the same rate center, they will all use the same local calling data. A centralized database provides an automated flow for changes in the network elements. The I-TEL database becomes the baseline for troubleshooting.

Increased Automated Order Completion
I-TEL provides the automation of all provisioning orders from the source document (i.e. RDBS, TIRKS, EXACT, CANS) to flow through to the network elements in the switch. I-TEL's flow-thru process allows the technician to complete complex code changes without any manual intervention.

Improved Audit Functionality
I-Tel provides the functionality to audit the accuracy of a new or existing code point translation to the information contained in the intelligent centralized routing database. Inaccurate or missing translations can be quickly identified and corrected in the switch. The technician controls the recommended fix.

I-TEL eliminates the need for an army of routing and translations technicians. I-TEL is used to initiate user tasks. Tasks can be designed to perform almost any user function that does not require a subjective decision. The user enters variable data and I-TEL performs all non-subjective tasks. I-TEL automatically performs the user-defined functions of a routing or translation technician.
